Census Mapping on CUNY TV

cunytvlogoThe Brian Lehrer show on CUNY TV featured an interview with the Center for Urban Research's Steven Romalewski about our Census "hard to count" mapping website.  The interview, which aired live on March 3, 2010 highlighted the importance of the map to understand what neighborhoods of New York City might have low participation rates in the 2010 Census and why.  As important, it showcased the maps as a strategic tool for census advocates working to boost participation in the Census by focusing their outreach efforts to get the biggest bang for the buck.

Note: the Brian Lehrer show is an hour; the mapping interview is at the 46 minute mark in the video.
