NYCLMIS Releases New Industry Profiles
The New York City Labor Market Information Service (NYCLMIS) released profiles of nine industry groups on its website today. The nine groups were selected because of their importance to the local labor market and public workforce system, as identified in the NYCLMIS' report released earlier this year, Gauging Employment Prospects in New York City, 2009. The reports contain information about job and wage trends, employment retention during previous recessions, occupational opportunities, and current workforce facts.
The featured industry groups are:
- Grocery Stores
- Urban Transit
- Publishing
- Legal Services
- Investigation and Security Services
- Colleges and Universities
- Home Health Care Services
- Individual and Family Services
- Restaurants
