NYS GIS Strategic Planning Workshop

New York State is updating its Statewide Geographic Information Systems Strategic Plan for building and maintaining New York's statewide Spatial Data Infrastructure.  This will help ensure that a core set of high quality geospatial data is available to all of New York 's GIS stakeholders.

This workshop invites decision-maker and GIS practitioners to participate and contribute your thoughts on the future direction of New York's GIS.  You do not need to be a GIS user to participate in these planning meetings.  While we value input from the existing GIS user community, we are also very interested to hear from professionals in other lines of work who can benefit from or contribute to up-to-date mapping.  These meetings will not be technical in nature.

The meeting is co-sponsored by the Center for Urban Research and the NYS GIS Coordination Program led by the NYS Office of Cyber Security & Critical Infrastructure Coordination (CSCIC) with cooperation from the New York State GIS Association.
